ACC Cancels All Athletics Related Activity for 2019-20 Academic Year

‘Cuse Men’s Lacrosse Fans Will Receive Refund for Advance Ticket Purchases
Following further consultation with the league's member institutions, and after previously suspending all athletic activities indefinitely, the Atlantic Coast Conference has made the decision to cancel all athletic related activities including all competition and practice through the end of the 2019-20 academic year. The unanimous decision was made to mitigate the further spread of COVID-19. Each institution will continue to work in accordance with its respective university and state policies related to its individual campus decisions.
Syracuse's men's rowing team, which does not compete in the ACC, will also suspend activities this spring.
"Our top priority remains the health and safety of our student-athletes as well as our fans, communities and the overall well-being of others during these uncharted times," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. "We are particularly disappointed for our student-athletes and will continue to work with our membership to assess what is appropriate in the future."

"The decision to cancel Spring sports seasons by the NCAA and the ACC is the correct action at this time given the unprecedented circumstances due to the spread of COVID-19," said Syracuse University Director of Athletics John Wildhack. "I empathize with the student-athletes and coaches who have seen their seasons come to an abrupt end, however, our number one priority remains the health and safety of everyone involved. The Athletics Department staff will continue to work with league and university leadership to do what is best for our student-athletes and our athletics programs."

All Syracuse fans who purchased tickets for the men's lacrosse games against Notre Dame (March 28, 2020) and North Carolina (April 11, 2020) will receive a refund.

All tickets* purchased for the Men's Lacrosse contests vs. Notre Dame (3/28) and North Carolina (4/11) will automatically be refunded to the credit card used during purchase. If you paid via cash or check, a refund check will be issued by Syracuse University.

*Season tickets will be refunded the value of the ND and UNC game which is equivalent to approximately 33% of the total season ticket rate. ($23 per adult season ticket and $13 per youth season ticket)
