GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore guard Buddy Boeheim and junior forward Bourama Sidibe have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Basketball team.
Boeheim ranks second at Syracuse in points per game (15.4) and leads all ACC players in 3-point field goal percentage (.375). He also leads the conference with 3.1 3-point field goals per game, good for 15th in the nation. The Fayetteville, New York-native is enrolled in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics and is majoring in sport management.
Sidibe leads the Orange in rebounds per game (7.3) and has recorded 10-or-more rebounds in his past four games, a feat that has not been accomplished since Tyler Lydon did so in the 2016-17 season. The Bamako, Mali-native is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as an international relations major.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
