Tudor, Durkin Named Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Silviu Tudor (men's rowing) and Ellen Durkin (mascot) are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for the week of May 4.

Tudor is an economics major and entrepreneurship & emerging enterprises minor in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Fairfield, Connecticut, native is headed to work for ALDI as a district manager in their South Windsor, Connecticut, division following graduation. Tudor has worked as a residential advisor at Syracuse for the last several years and was a member of the third varsity-eight in his five career races.

Durkin is a music industry major in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Parker, Colorado, native is a member of the Syracuse University Orchestra, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), was a chamber group member, was an "S" Orchestra section leader, and worked as a brand ambassador with Galaxy Media in Syracuse. Durkin has been one of the faces behind Otto for the past four years.
