Hiltz Selected to All-America Game

Incoming freshman attackman Owen Hiltz has been selected to the Under Armour All-America team. The game itself has been canceled due to COVID-19, but Hiltz was still honored for his high school accomplishments with the selection.
Hiltz, a Peterborough, Ontario native, played his high school lacrosse at national power Culver Academy. He's tabbed as a top-three recruit in the 2020 class by Inside Lacrosse. Hiltz posted a pair of 100-point campaigns in his sophomore and junior seasons at Culver, netting 50 goals and 62 assists in 2019 for the co-national champions.
There's a strong pedigree of Under Armour All-Americans on the Orange's current roster. Jamie Trimboli (2016), Tucker Dordevic (2017), Lucas Quinn (2017), Owen Seebold (2017), Griffin Cook (2018), Pete Fiorini (2018), Matt Magnan (2018) and Chase Scanlan (2018) all were selections out of high school.
He'll join a program that was ranked No. 1 when the season was halted due to COVID-19. Nine All-Americans will return in 2021 from that squad.
