Syracuse (7-4, 1-3) looks to snap its first two-game losing streak of the season after a loss at Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon. Junior Alan Griffin led the way a career-high 28 points, marking the fifth time the Ossining, N.Y. native has scored 20 or more points in a game this season. He now ranks seventh in the ACC in scoring, second in 3-point field goals made (2.55 per game) and third in 3-point field goal percentage (.368).

Sophomore Quincy Guerrier posted his second consecutive double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. He leads the ACC and ranks 10th in the nation with six double-doubles this season. Additionally, Guerrier is second in the league in rebounding (9.82 rpg.) and third in field goal percentage (.559).

MARATHON MEN
Senior Marek Dolezaj and junior Buddy Boeheim are averaging 35.66 minutes per game through the first 11 contests of the season. Dolezaj ranks fourth in the ACC in minutes played. Boeheim does not currently meet the threshold of playing in 75 percent of Syracuse's games to appear in the conference rankings.

SCOUTING THE HURRICANES
Miami upset No. 16/18 Louisville on Saturday to improve its record to 6-6 overall, 2-5 in league play. The Hurricanes are 1-2 on the road this season.

Isaiah Wong is Miami's leading scorer, averaging 17.6 points per game. He was 12-for-20 from the field against Louisville for a career-high 30 points. Wong is fifth in the ACC in scoring. Nysier Brooks leads the Hurricanes' efforts on the boards, grabbing 6.83 rebounds per game.

Head coach Jim Larrañaga is in his 10th season at the helm of the Miami program. He has guided the Hurricanes to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including two trips to the Sweet 16, as well as the 2013 ACC regular-season and tournament titles.

Tuesday's game marks the 29th meeting between Syracuse and Miami. The Orange hold a 19-9 advantage in the series between the former BIG EAST foes.

The teams last met in the 2019-20 regular-season finale in Coral Gables. Joseph Girard III hit a mid-range jumper with one second to play to tie the game at 56-56 and force overtime. Miami scored the first four points of the extra session and held on for a 69-65 victory. Dolezaj scored 17 points and Bourama Sidibe grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Orange, while Wong led all scorers with 18 points.
