As the Syracuse Orange prepare to host NC State in the Carrier Dome on Sunday, Jan. 31 (6 p.m., ACCN), we continue our Q&A series to help you get to know your Orange! In this edition we talk with redshirt sophomore forward Robert Braswell.
A year ago, you were trying to overcome an injury. You noted that yoga and extra stretching were part of your rehabilitation. Looking back, do you feel those activities helped?
Yes. I feel like I can move a lot better this year. I have stretched a lot more than I had previously. It is not something that I enjoyed doing but I realized I had to do it if I wanted to get better.
Is it safe to say your legs feel better than they have since you came to Syracuse?
I would say that. They still are painful at times, but it is a lot better.
In the home game with Pittsburgh, you came off the bench and practically took over the game for a period. What do you remember about that?
I believe I took advantage of that opportunity. I feel like I was able to show people what I am capable of.
You were named to Syracuse's Fall Athletic Director Honor Roll (3.0-or-better g.p.a.). How have you been able to achieve academic success during a time when most classes are virtual?
I just had to focus a little more. This is the first semester I've been on the Athletic Director Honor Roll so I was very excited about it.
