Orange Host Senior Day vs. Duke

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Orange will honor graduate students Dana Gardner and Yuliia Yastrub, as well as head manager Steven Soriano during a pre-match ceremony on Sunday when they host Duke in their final home match of the season. First serve is at 1 pm. The match will be the 13th meeting between Syracuse (16-12 overall, 5-11 ACC) and Duke (15-12, 6-10). Attendance to all Syracuse volleyball matches is free. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.

Orange Leaders
Junior Marina Markova ranks first in the ACC and 10th nationally in kills (455). She is also second in conference and 17th nationally in kills per set with 4.46.

Senior outside hitter Polina Shemanova is third in the ACC in service aces (35) and kills (394), while senior Elena Karakasi is second in the ACC in assists with 972.

The Series vs. Duke
This will be the 13th meeting between the Orange and the Blue Devils, and the 11th match-up since the Syracuse joined the ACC. The series is tied at six after the Orange swept Duke at Cameron Indoor earlier this season.

The Opponent
Duke libero Mackenzie Cole ranks in the top two in the ACC in three statistical categories, including first in digs per set (4.24), and second in digs (382) and service aces (36).
