Orange End Season in Double OT at UNC

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Orange lost their first round game in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, 1-0, in double overtime to North Carolina. The teams battled for 90 minutes of regulation and the first overtime period without a goal, sending the Orange into their fifth double overtime match of the season. The Tar Heels scored the lone goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 106th minute of the game to advance to the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. Syracuse ends the season 8-8-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the ACC.

- This game marks Syracuse's seventh appearance in the ACC Tournament since joining the conference in 2013.
- Sophomore forward Deandre Kerr led the team in leading scoring with nine goals on the season.
- Head coach Ian McIntyre closes his 12th season at the helm of the program with an overall coaching record of 211-149-68 and a 104-85-36 record at Syracuse.
