Mikel Jones to Return for 2022 Season
The Orange's defensive captain is back!
After he stated he'd weigh his future options regarding potentially entering the NFL Draft, First Team All-ACC linebacker Mikel Jones announced he's returning for the 2022 season.

Jones, a Florida native, led the team in tackles (110) and tackles for loss (13.0) this season. His 110 tackles ranked second in the ACC, but 60 of those were solo stops, which was tops in the conference. He was also second among ACC linebackers with four sacks and had six games with 10-or-more tackles. He was named to the Butkus Award Watch List this season.

Syracuse can return 17-of-22 starters from this year's team, five of whom were All-ACC selections. Fans can secure their tickets for next season by submitting a deposit  to ensure they'll be part of the action for the team's seven game home slate.
