Syracuse (5-5 overall) returns to action for the first time since Dec. 11 when it hosts Brown (8-5) on Dec. 27 at 6:00 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange look to recover from a 79-75 loss to Georgetown in their last game on December 11. Although all five Syracuse starters scored in double digits in the tight contest, they came up just shy of securing the win.

The Bears are also coming off a two-week stretch with no games after nine games throughout November. In their most recent game on Dec. 10, Brown lost to Vermont, 70-65.

THE SYRACUSE-BROWN SERIES
The two teams will meet for eighth time on Monday night. Syracuse leads the series, 4-3, with the last matchup, dating back 35 years ago to March of 1986. The Orange won that encounter, which was an NCAA Tournament pairing.

EDWARDS LOOKS TO CONTINUE STREAK
Junior center Jesse Edwards has had a remarkable start to the season. He has recorded a career high in several categories including points (21), rebounds (12), steals (five) and blocks (four). He has recorded double digit points in the past six sraight outings.

LILLY JR. ADDS TO GREAT ROOKIE CAMPAIGN
Brown freshman guard Kino Lilly Jr. was named Ive League Rookie of the Week on Dec. 13 after a 1-1 week for the Bears. The guard averaged 14.0 points, four assists and two steals during the split week. In the Bears' most recent competition against Vermont, Lilly Jr. tied for team honors with 13 points.
