Orange Ice Hockey Game vs. RIT Canceled

The Syracuse University ice hockey game against RIT scheduled for February 23rd is canceled due to COVID protocol in the RIT program. The Orange (8-8-1 overall) is slated to return to the ice on Friday, February 26 at Robert Morris (7 pm).

The game against RIT was scheduled to be the final home game of the season. A Senior Ceremony honoring the five members of the Class of 2021 was scheduled for after the game. The senior class includes Kristen Siermachesky, Jessica DiGirolamo, Emma Polaski, Victoria Klimek and Allison Small. The group was part of the 2019 College Hockey America championship team that earned the ice hockey program's first NCAA Tournament invitation.
