RALEIGH, N.C. --Â Syracuse and NC State will meet for the second time in less than 10 days when the Orange travel to Raleigh for a Tuesday night matchup with the Wolfpack. Tipoff at PNC Arena is set for 6:30 p.m.

The game will be televised on ACC Network and ACC Network Extra. Matt Park and Jim Satalin will call all the action on the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield IMG College, including TK99/105 locally.
ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse looks to change its luck on the road after a 78-61 loss at Clemson on Saturday. The Orange scored the first points of the game, but the Tigers outscored Syracuse 39-16 over the remainder of the half to take control of the game.

Sophomore Joseph Girard III went 7-of-13 from the field on his way to a team-high 19 points. Freshman Kadary Richmond recorded a season-high six steals to go along with five rebounds.

CAUGHT STEALING
The Orange posted a season-high 13 steals against Clemson. Syracuse ranks third in the ACC and 15th in the nation in steals per game (9.0 spg.). Richmond had six steals against the Tigers, marking the third time this season the freshman has had five or more steals in a game. He leads the team with 32 steals. If Richmond ends the year as Syracuse's leader, it would mark the first time since the 1975-76 season that a freshman has recorded the most steals for the Orange in back-to-back campaigns. Girard III recorded a team-high 47 in 32 games in 2019-20.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
NC State has split its two games since losing to the Orange on Jan. 31. The Wolfpack lost to Virginia, 64-57, before winning at Boston College, 81-65, on Saturday. NC State enters Tuesday's game with an 8-7 overall record, including a 4-6 mark in ACC play.

Jericole Hellems and DJ Funderburk average double figures in scoring for NC State. Hellems averages 13.3 points per game, while Funderburk adds 11.8 points per contest. Manny Bates is the Wolfpack's leading rebounder (6.1 rpg.) and ranks first in the ACC in blocked shots (2.93 bpg.).

Kevin Keatts is in his fourth year at the helm of the NC State program. He has guided the Wolfpack to 20 or more wins in each of his first three seasons. Previously, Keatts served as the head coach at UNC-Wilmington.

Syracuse took an 8-6 advantage in the all-time series with its 76-73 victory on Jan. 31. The win snapped a three-game losing streak to the Wolfpack.

The Orange battled back from a nine-point halftime deficit and held on for a three-point victory in the first meeting. Alan Griffin led Syracuse with 19 points, while Buddy Boeheim followed closely behind with 17 points. Richmond scored 14 points off the bench, while Marek Dolezaj (11 points) and Quincy Guerrier (10 points) rounded out the double-digit scorers for Syracuse.

Syracuse has just three home games remaining, including a battle with Boston College on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Carrier Dome. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. on ACC Network.
