Syracuse Announces Public Ticket Sales for Two Upcoming Lacrosse Games
4/1/2021 3:00:00 PM | Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse
Over the past month, Syracuse University has successfully demonstrated to the New York State Department of Health that the COVID prevention protocols in place to support safe operations of the Syracuse Stadium are comprehensive and effective. For that reason, we are happy to announce that NYS has approved our request to allow a limited number of fans from the general public to attend the women's lacrosse game vs. Virginia on Saturday, April 10 and the men's lacrosse game vs. North Carolina on Saturday, April 17.
Â
For the women's lacrosse game on April 10th, 2019-20 season ticket holders for all sports will receive an email today with instructions on how to claim presale tickets beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are free for women's lacrosse but must be reserved by claiming a ticket in advance through their MyCuse Account (there will be no day of game admission without a claimed ticket).
Â
For the men's lacrosse game on April 17th, all 2020 men's lacrosse season ticket holders will receive an email today with instructions on how to purchase presale tickets beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are $15 each for men's lacrosse. Tickets must be reserved by purchasing a ticket in advance through their MyCuse Account (there will be no day of game admission without a purchased ticket).
Â
Both presales will  take place on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last. Should additional tickets remain, fans outside of the season ticket holder groups will have an opportunity to purchase beginning Monday, April 5 at 12:00 p.m. through cuse.com/tickets.  Patrons will have an opportunity to purchase a specific pod of seats (which are in groups of 1-4 seats using nine-foot social distancing protocols).
Â
In order to attend the game, non-student fans must purchase a ticket in advance through their MyCuse Account (there will be no day of game sales). In addition, as per NYS guidelines, proof of full vaccination (defined as the day of the event you are attending must be at least 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine) OR pre-entry COVID testing is a requirement for non-student fans to attend any event in the Syracuse Stadium. Non-students fans have two options to satisfy the pre-entry testing requirement:
Fans who have received the full course of the COVID vaccine should bring proof of vaccination to present upon entering the Stadium. Be advised that there is no onsite COVID testing available to the public at the Syracuse University Stadium.

For Syracuse University students, a limited number of student tickets will also be available for the April 10th and 17th games. Â Students will follow the same procedure that has been used for prior lacrosse games. Students will receive an email to claim their tickets on Friday for these contests. Any student who claims a ticket and is not fully vaccinated must submit to our enhanced testing protocols, including a negative COVID-19 test from the Stadium Testing Center two days prior to the event, a negative rapid test prior to the game on Saturday, and a follow up test within 72 hours of the event. Details on required testing windows and arrival times are outlined via the email you will receive.
Â
As previously announced the men's lacrosse games on April 3 vs. Notre Dame and April 8 vs. UAlbany will have student attendance only. Information for all future games will be announced at a later date as Syracuse University continues its pilot program in safely reopening its stadium in conjunction with state and local guidance. All attendance policies are subject to change with public health guidance and policies.
