
Seven Orange Earn All-America honors

Seven Syracuse players earned USILA All-America honors, led by Tucker Dordevic's third team selection.
In addition to Dordevic, Stephen Rehfuss, Jamie Trimboli, Brendan Curry, Peter Dearth, Brett Kennedy and Owen Hiltz were tabbed as honorable mention honorees.
Over 40-percent of the total All-America selections were from ACC teams, despite the conference only fielding five total teams.
Dordevic posted career bests with 23 goals and eight assists this season to lead Orange midfielders.
Rehfuss concludes his 'Cuse career 25th all-time among Syracuse players with 188 points. His  110 assists rank ninth all-time. Rehfuss was drafted in the fourth round of the PLL Draft this spring.
Trimboli is another player wrapping up his career among the all-time greats at SU. His 95 goals rank seventh among Syracuse midfielders all-time. Trimboli has earned All-America honors in all-four years at 'Cuse after being an honorable mention selection by the USILA in 2021, 2019 and 2018 and an Inside Lacrosse First Team honoree in 2020. Trimboli was drafted in the fourth round of the PLL Draft this spring.
Curry earned his third All-America selection. The junior had 17 goals and 11 assists this season for the Orange frim the first-line midfield.
Dearth is one of the nation's best short-stick defensive midfielders and will suit up in the PLL this summer, after being selected in the third round of the draft last month. He is now a three-time All-American after earning USILA honors in 2021 and 2019 and an Inside Lacrosse selection in 2019.
Hiltz put up one of the most productive rookie campaigns in program history, finishing with the eighth-most points (48) by a freshman ever at Syracuse. He's also the first true freshman to be named an All-American since Mike Leveille was in 2005. Hiltz scored 29 goals and added 19 assists this season.
Kennedy enters the 2022 season ranked in the top-10 in program history with 43 caused turnovers. He had six points this year on two goals and four assists, while collecting a personal best 46 ground balls and causing 15 turnovers.
