Orange Trio Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three Syracuse players earned a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team for men's soccer, which was announced on Wednesday, June 16. Junior Hilli Goldhar earned the award for the second time in his career, while senior Simon Triantafillou and sophomore Noah Singelmann are first-time honorees.

Goldhar started all 13 matches in 2020. He posted four points on a goal and four assists. Goldhar is a double major in finance and information management and technology.

Triantafillou played in all 13 matches, making 12 starts. He finished the year with six points on two goals and two assists and helped the defense record a pair of shutouts. Triantafillou is majoring in biology.

Singelmann had a breakout season in 2020. He posted career highs in points (10), goals (3) and assists (4). Singlemann, who is majoring in economics, led the team in points and assists.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
