VUNIPOLAÂ IN ON BOTH TALLIES
Vunipola had a hand in on each of Syracuse's goals. She picked up an assist on the first goal, sending a perfect cross to Pilley. Vunipola then scored the game-winner off a chipped pass from senior Meghan Root that she headed into the Eagle goal.
EASTERN MICHIGAN STRIKES FIRST
While Syracuse produced the most opportunities it was visiting Eastern Michigan that got on the board first. Simone Chiodo earned a penalty kick after drawing a yellow card.
