Syracuse (8-8 overall, 2-3 ACC) and Florida State (9-5 overall,, 3-2 ACC) meet to round out their two-game season series on Saturday, Jan. 15. Tip time in the Dome is set for 3:00 p.m and the matchup will be aired on ESPN.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange are hot off their 77-61 victory against Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Buddy Boeheim had a squad-best 24 points and four of the five starters scored in double figures..

The Seminoles most recent outing was a last-second, 65-64 win against Miami on Tuesday. Florida State snapped Miami's nine-game win streak and handed the Hurricanes their first ACC loss of the campaign.

THE SYRACUSE-FLORIDA STATE SERIES
Saturday's contest will be the 13th meeting between the Orange and the Seminoles and the second encounter of the 2021-22 season. The game on Dec. 4 2021 resulted in a 63-60 Syracuse victory. The Orange lead the all-time series, 8-5.

BUDDY IN DOUBLE FIGURES
Buddy Boeheim has scored in double figures in 13 of the 16 games this season. He has topped 20 points in four of his last six contests.

Buddy and his brother Jimmy Boeheim enter the contest as the second highest scoring duo in the Division I ranks. They have averaged a combined 33.8 points per game. Keegan and Kris Murray from Iowa top the list with a 34.5 average.

CLEVELAND'S HOT HAND
Freshman guard Matthew Cleveland is on a scoring streak, producing double-digit points in his last four showings. He contributed a team-high 25 points off the bench in the win against Miami coming off the bench. Cleveland is averaging 10.8 points per game for the Seminoles. Caleb Mills, a transfer from Houston, leads Florida State in scoring (12.6 avg.).
