Meet the Orange: #24 Dariauna Lewis

In this episode of Meet the Orange, Dariauna Lewis discusses her transfer to Syracuse for her final season of college basketball. One of the top rebounders in the country, Lewis brings a fiery personality to the Syracuse squad after an HBCU All-American career at Alabama A&M.

Lewis, who's nickname is 'Stretch', averaged a double double in her final season at Alabama A&M with 15.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. She shot 50 percent from the field and was 14th in the country in rebounds per game. As a junior, Lewis was second in the nation in rebounds per game with 13.0 per game while pouring in 17.8 points per game.

The Omaha, Neb., native is a fierce competitor who models her game after her basketball idol and NBA legend Dennis Rodman, has overcome asthma since childhood to pursue her dreams of playing basketball at a high level.

The Meet the Orange miniseries is aimed to introduce fans to the new faces of @CuseWBB and build excitement for Coach Jack's first season leading her alma mater.
