Von Marburg Named to Ray Guy Award Watch List

Freshman punter Max von Marburg has been named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List.
Von Marburg has punted 14 times for 595 yards with a 42.5 yard average through his four games of action this season (Syracuse did not punt against Wagner). He has downed three punts inside the 20 and had just one touchback on the year.
He's yet another player from the Orange on a major award watch list. Aaron Bolinsky (Wuerffel Trophy), Dakota Davis (Campbell Trophy), Mikel Jones (Bronco Nagurski Trophy, Dick Butkus Award and Chuck Bednarik Award), Garrett Shrader (Maxwell Award and Davey O'Brien Award), Andre Szmyt (Lou Groza Award), Sean Tucker (Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Doak Walker Award).
