Syracuse (8-6-2, 1-5-2) faces a second consecutive road encounter when it plays at Virginia Tech (9-5-2, 3-4-1) on Sunday, Oct. 23. The Orange hope to stop the Hokies' six-game unbeaten streak against SU.

Syracuse captured the first-ever match between the two programs, winning 1-0 in overtime on Oct. 28, 2001.

The Orange were edged at #20 Pittsburgh on Thursday, 2-0. The Panthers tallied near the end of both halves to secure the win.

Graduate student Chelsea Domond continues to lead Syracuse in scoring (5g, 5a).

Freshman keeper Shea Vanderbosch has made 14 straight starts for the Orange.
