Syracuse (1-0) hosts its most frequent rival Colgate (2-1) inside the JMA Wireless Dome on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange kicked off the 2022-23 campaign with a 90-72 victory over Lehigh this past Monday night inside the JMA Wireless Dome.

The Raiders defeated Division III Wells College on Sunday afternoon, 93-60, improving its record to 2-1.

THE SYRACUSE-COLGATE SERIES
Tuesday night will be the 174th meeting between the Orange and Raider squads. The series extends back to the 1901-02 season. In their last clash on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, Colgate defeated Syracuse, 100-85, ending SU's 54-game win streak in the series.

LAST TIME OUT
Syracuse had four performers put up double digits against the Mountain Hawks -- senior center Jesse Edwards generated a double-double (18 pts, 11 rbs), senior guard Joseph Girard led with 19 points, freshman guard Judah Mintz recorded 16, and senior guard Symir Torrence (10 pts) locked in a career-high performance.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
In Colgate's most recent victory, the Raiders were paced by five players who tallied 10-or-more points. Tucker Richardson led the Raider attack with 15 points on 6-of-10 from the field. Ryan Moffatt scored 11 points, while Braeden Smith, Chandler Baker, and Nicolas Louis-Jacques each added 10. Malcolm Bailey topped the Raiders on the glass with nine rebounds in 11 minutes.

'CUSE FANS CAN VOTE FOR GIRARD
Senior Joseph Girard III is one of 20 players named to the 2023 Jerry West Award watch list, which is annually presented to the top shooting guard in Division I college basketball. Orange fans are encouraged to participate in Fan Voting for each of the three rounds. The list will be narrowed down to 10 in January, five in February, and the five finalists will be presented to Jerry West and the Hall of Fame's selection committee where a winner will be selected in March. BOEHEIM & PEARL TO JOIN RING OF HONOR
Jim Boeheim and Dwayne "Pearl" Washington -- two of the most prominent names in Syracuse men's basketball history -- will be formally recognized as members of the Syracuse University Athletics Ring of Honor in the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. The ceremony will be held on the same day the Orange host Georgetown.
