National Signing Day 2023

The Syracuse football team added two additional signees on Wednesday to a group of 20 players that signed in December, comprising the Orange's incoming class to date. The class breakdown, including six transfers, features an even balance of 10 defensive players, 10 offensive players and two specialists. Ten of the players come in as offensive or defensive linemen, and 10 have already enrolled and are on campus for the spring semester.
The class features 16 high school/JUCO signees, with every member of the signing class thus far being a multi-sport athlete.Â
The four signees from New York are the most in-state signees since 2018, when the Orange also brought in four players from the Empire State. In addition, 12 of the high school/JUCO signees were team captains and 10 were multi-year team captains.
