Syracuse (15-12 overall, 9-7 ACC) travels to South Bend, Ind., to take on Notre Dame (19-8 overall, 12-4 ACC) on Wednesday, Feb, 23. The game will be televised on ESPN NEWS and will tip in Purcell Pavilion at 7:00 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange are back on the court just two days after their 74-73, overtime victory against Georgia Tech on Monday. The game came down to a 22-second defensive stand by the Orange that secured the triumph. It was Syracuse's sixth victory in seven outings.

Notre Dame's most recent game against Wake Forest ended in a 79-74 win for the Demon Deacons. Prior to the loss, the Fighting Irish were on a five-game winning streak.

THE SYRACUSE-NOTRE DAME SERIES
Wednesday will mark the 54th encounter between the two teams. Syracuse possesses a 31-22 lead in the series, and have won the two most recent pairings. Syracuse won a year ago in the Dome, 75-67.

DOUBLE THE TROUBLE
Both Jimmy Boeheim and Cole Swider produced their fifth double-doubles of the season in the game against Georgia Tech on Monday. Boeheim posted 20 points and 10 rebounds while Swider contributed 18 points and 12 boards.

Joseph Girard III leads the ACC in two different categories -- 3-point field-goal percentage (.428) and free-throw percentageg (.897)..

FIGHTING IRISH TO WATCH
Guards Blake Wesley (14.7 ppg.), a freshman, and junior Dana Goodwin (14.6) are Notre Dame's top two scorers.
