
Henderson, Hayles and James Score on Final Day of ACCs

Nathan Henderson, Jaheem Hayles and Kahniya James each got in the scoring for Syracuse at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
Henderson was SU's top finisher on the day, turning in a new personal-best time of 7:51.48, which was good for fourth overall. JP Trojan finished 15th in 8:08.41, followed by Matthew Scrape (8:12.28/23rd), Kevin Robinson (8:14.13/26th), Ethan Wechsler (8:25.96/40th) and Noah Beveridge (8:35.09/48th) for the Orange. The winner was Notre Dame's Dylan Jacobs in a new facility and meet record time of 7:49.79.
James finished sixth in the women's 60-meter dash, finishing in 7.45 seconds. Jacious Sears (7.28) of Miami won the event.
Hayles finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 7.91 seconds. Florida State's Trey Cunningham won the event in 7.42 seconds.
Annie Boos finished 11th in the 3000-meter run to be Syracuse's top finisher in the event. She crossed the line in 9:26.91. Sydney Nowicki (9:50.21) finished 29th, two spots ahead of Emma Eastman (9:51.16). Sophia Jacobs-Townsley also raced in 10:04.83. Nicole Fegans from Georgia Tech was the event winner in 9:01.31.
