
Hayles Posts One of Nation's Best Times in 60H

Orange star wins to headline Dr. Sander Invite
Jaheem Hayles posted one of the top-11 times in the nation in the 60-meter hurdles on Saturday, earning a win at the Dr. Sander Invitational.
Hayles time was a PR, as he defeated Princeton's Christian Brown by 0.01 seconds for the win. Naseem Smith (8.00) finished fifth and Anthony Vazquez (8.13) was seventh, after both having reached the finals. Isaiah Lewis (8.18) and Xayvion Perkins (8.56) finished 14th and 28th, respectively.
Shaleah Colaire qualified for the women in the 60-meter dash, earning fifth in a time of 8.39/ Teammates CJ Fox and Kirstyn Schecter were 18th and 28th.
Kahniya James placed third in the women's 60-meter dash with a new collegiate best time of 7.56 seconds. Trei Thorogood finished fourth in the men's race with a time of 6.91. Sean Tucker (7.02) finished 15th. Kaleia Arrington finished fifth in the open 60-meter dash, crossing the line in 7.98 seconds.
The Orange DMR squad of Noah Beveridge, James Nmah, Joey Eovaldi and Nathan Henderson were fifth in 9:57.01. The women's group of Abigail Spiers, Eunice Boateng, Sage Brooks and Annie Boos were sixth in 11:30.62.
'Cuse is back in action on Saturday at the meet.
