A battle of the brothers is set to take place on Tuesday, Feb. 8 when Syracuse (12-11 overall, 6-6 ACC) competes against Boston College (9-12 overall, 4-7 ACC). Tip Time in Conte Forum is set for 8:00 p.m. and the matchup will be aired on ACC Network.

Buddy and Jimmy Boeheim represent the highest scoring sibling duo in college basketball, averaging 32.9 ppg. between the two of them. Boston College brothers Makai Ashton and DeMarr Langford are averaging 23.1 ppg. and rank sixth on the national sibling list.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange are coming off their third straight ACC win, a 92-69 victory against Louisville on Saturday.

The Eagles look to earn their 10th win of the season after losing their last game 67-55 to Virginia this past weekend.

THE SYRACUSE-BOSTON COLLEGE SERIES
Tuesday's contest will be the 80th meeting between the Orange and the Eagles. Syracuse leads the series 53-26 and has won the last six consecutive match ups. Boston College is Syracuse's ninth most played opponent in its history.

THE STARTING FIVE
The Orange's starting line up continues to produce offensively. Each of the first five are averaging double-figure points Buddy Boeheim ranks second in the ACC and 36th nationally in scoring average (19.3). Jimmy Boeheim (13.6 ppg.), Joseph Girard III (13.3 ppg.), Cole Swider (12.6 ppg.) and Jesse Edwards (12.6 ppg.) round out the starting crew.

Girard III leads the ACC and ranks 30th in Division I in free throw percentage (.908). He also ranks second in the conference and 14th overall in 3-point field goal percentage (.423).

THE EAGLES' BROTHERS
The Langford brothers are the two top scorers in the Boston College lineup. Makai Ashton-Langford (12.7 ppg.) and DeMarr Langford (10.5 ppg.) represent the Eagles' who are averaging double-digit scoring.

T.J. Bickerstaff, a transfer from Drexel, is the club's top rebounder (8.0 rpg.).
