Syracuse (15-15, 9-10 ACC) plays its final home contest of the regular season on Saturday, March 5 when the Orange host Miami (21-9, 13-5 ACC). Tip time in the Carrier Dome is set for 1:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange look to recover from consecutive losses to the top three teams in the ACC Standings -- at Notre Dame (2nd), Duke (1st) and at North Carolina (3rd), Syracuse pushed the Tar Heels into overtime on Monday, thanks to a last-second basket by Joseph Girard III, before the hosts emerged, 88-79.Â
The Hurricanes' enter the Dome as winners of five-of-their-last seven contests. Miami defeated Boston College on Wednesday, 81-70.

Syracuse will honor seven players and five managers in a pre-game ceremony. The players to be recognized include:

Saturday's contest will complete the two-game, regular-season series between Syracuse and Miami this season. The Orange lost at Miami on January 5, 88-87.
Syracuse owns a 20-10 advantage in the all-time series with Miami.
SWIDERÂ SOARS
Cole Swider produced a career-high 36 points in Chapel Hill on Monday. Included in the offensive outburst were seven 3-pointers. He finished with the second-most points by a North Carolina opponent in the history of the Dean Smith Center.
Buddy Boeheim, who enters Saturdays encounter ranked second in the conference in scoring average (19.0), ranks 13th in career scoring at Syracuse (1,721 points). He is the second player in program history to surpass 300 3-pointers, joining current assistant coach Gerry McNamara.
CONTAINING THE HURRICANE
Third-year sophomore Isaiah Wong had a season-best performance with 27 points against Boston College on Wednesday.
Redshirt senior Kameron McGusty (17.4 ppg.) and Wong (15.5 ppg.) are Miami's top two scorers. Senior Charlie Moore (12.5 ppg.), who had 25 points the last time these two squads met, is another threat.
