Longtime assistant athletic trainer Brandon Hall has been promoted to Head Football Athletic Trainer for the 2022 season.
Hall has been with the Syracuse football program since 2016 as an assistant athletic trainer, and also spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the team as a graduate assistant. Hall will manage all phases of athletic training for the Orange, including the treatment of injuries, rehabilitation and practice and game coverage.
"I am very excited to take the next step of my career at Syracuse University," Hall said. "I have witnessed and been a part of the growth within Syracuse Athletics for almost 10 years and have big plans to continue to take the healthcare of our student athletes to even higher levels. I appreciate the faith and confidence the athletics administration has shown me during my time here and specifically during this transition to Head Football Athletic Trainer."
In total, Hall has 10 years of collegiate athletic training experience, including two years at William & Mary (2015-16), where he worked with a variety of sports for the Tribe, including baseball, track and field and cross country.
A Massachusetts native and University of New Hampshire graduate with a bachelor's degree in athletic training, Hall holds certifications in several manual therapy and rehabilitative interventions, including the Graston Technique and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFRT). He is also a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
