Boos and Trojan Earn ACC Academic Accolades

Annie Boos and JP Trojan earned All-ACC Academic honors on Friday, which rewards student-athletes for strong academic and athletic careers.
Boos earned her master's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in magazine, news and digital journalism. Trojan is in law school at Syracuse. Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
Boos qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000-meter steeplechase. The ACC bronze medalist in the event went on to earn honorable mention All-America honors.
Trojan had his season cut short due to injury in the NCAA East Prelim. He finished seventh in the 10k at the ACC Championships and took 13th in the 5k two days later at the event.
