CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Syracuse volleyball defeated Campbell, 3-1, on Friday afternoon inside Halton Arena on the Campus of UNC-Charlotte. The season-opening victory was Bakeer Ganesharatnam's first win as head coach of the program.

"This matchup placed a lot of responsibility on the outside hitters, and I thought that they responded really well. Everyone worked hard and did their part today, making sure that the outside wasn't overloaded. Overall, it was great team effort."
