Syracuse (3-1-0) packed its two-game winning streak to bring along on the squad's first road trip of the 2022 season. The Orange play at Eastern Michigan (1-1-1) on Thursday, September 1, at 5:00 p.m. The match is being played at Brighton High School's Sloan Field, located at 125 S. Church Street, Brighton, Mich.

SYRACUSE STATUS
The Orange plan to build on consecutive victories against Lafayette (4-1) and Siena (2-0). Syracuse's four goals against the Leopards represented its best showing since a 2015 game with UMass. Last Sunday, against Siena, the Orange totaled 34 shots, the highest number of attempts since a match at Vermont in 2014.

EASTERN MICHIGAN STATUS
The host Eagles have compiled a draw with Western Illinois (2-2), a win at Illinois State (4-0) and a loss at St. Bonaventure (3-1).

Eastern Michigan has improved over a season ago when the Eagles finished with a 2-13-3 record.

THE SYRACUSE VS EASTERN MICHIGAN SERIES
Syracuse has claimed the only prior meeting with Eastern Michigan. The Orange were 2-1 winners a season ago in a contest at the SU Soccer Stadium.

NOTABLE NOTES

Freshman goalkeeper Shea Vanderbosch earned the shutout in the win against Siena. She's made two starts and owns a 0.80 goals-against-average. She's made a squad best 13 saves and has an .837 save percentage.
Redshirt sophomore Erin Flurey leads the Orange with 22 shot attempts over four games. The next closest performer is graduate student Chelsea Domond, with 16.
Six players have started the first four games: graduate student Jenna Tivnan, junior Kate Murphy, sophomores Koby Commandant, Emma Klein and Kendyl Lauher and freshman Grace Gillard.
Gillard has logged the most minutes -- 343. She's averaged 85.8 minutes per match.
