The Orange return to the ice to host #5 Colgate on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6 pm at Tennity Ice Pavilion. The Orange (7-13-1 overall, 4-2 College Hockey America) and the Raiders (17-2-1, 8-1 ECAC) opened the 2022-23 season in Hamilton in September. The game will be streamed on Cuse.com.

Syracuse goaltender Arielle DeSmet is approaching the 2,000 career save plateau. She has 1,940 stops in 77 career games, which ranks 15th in CHA history.

The game against Colgate kicks off a busy first month of the year for Syracuse. The Orange have a stretch of eight games in 20 days, including against #5 Colgate (1/10) and #9 Cornell (1/17) at Tennity Ice Pavilion before traveling to Lindenwood (1/20 and 1/21) and RIT (1/24). The Orange will host RIT on January 25th and then play at Mercyhurst (1/28 and 1/29) to close out the first month of the new year.

- Juniors Rayla Clemons and Sarah Thompson combined to contribute to a pair of goals against Vermont. The duo assisted on junior Tatum White's goal in the first game and then Clemons scored in the second game on an assist from Thompson. Earlier in the season the pair combined for a goal at St. Lawrence (Thompson goal/Clemons assist) and in the first game of the series against Post (Clemons goal/Thompson and Hannah Johnson assist).
