Villari and Bleich Collect ACC Weekly Honors

Dan Villari and Chris Bleich were honored for their play in Syracuse's win over Pittsburgh.
Villari, a tight end, was named ACC Running Back of the Week, while offensive lineman Chris Bleich earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week accolades.
Villari set Syracuse's program record for rushing yards by a tight end, carrying the ball 17 times for 154 yards and a touchdown in the win. He's one of three players in the FBS this season that is not a quarterback or running back to lead his team in rushing in a game this season. The league does not have a tight end of the week honor, allowing Villari to collect running back accolades.
Bleich and the offensive line paved the way for a 'Cuse to rush for the most yards (492) since the 1996 Liberty Bowl. He graded at 89 percent blocking percentage and had six knockdown blocks. Three members of the Orange ran for over 100 yards in the game, which was the first time that had happened at Syracuse since 1997.
The Orange are back in action on Saturday at Georgia Tech. Kick time is set for 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
