SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange return home to the JMA Wireless Dome in search of their third straight victory after defeating Boston College, 77-68, and Florida State, 76-67, on the road last week. NC State has won five of its last six games and recently topped Boston College, 92-62, on Saturday afternoon.

Syracuse leads the all-time series against NC State with 11 wins over the course of 17 pairings, which extends back to 1990. The Orange have bested the Wolfpack in the last four contests, good for the longest streak in the series since a three-game stretch from 2010 to 2014.Â

Girard ranks fifth in the ACC scoring average, logging a team-high 17.0 points per game. Defensively, Edwards (14.2 ppg.) leads the league in blocks with 2.8 per contest while Mintz (15.4 ppg.) sits atop the conference averaging 2.0 steals per outing.

Sophomore guard Terquavion Smith (18.5 ppg.) leads the potent Wolfpack offense that has four players averaging at least 12 points. Sharpshooting senior guard Casey Morsell (12.9 ppg.) leads the ACC in three-point shooting percentage making 45.0% of his shots beyond the arc.

MCNAMARA AND WARRICK JERSEY RETIREMENT
Twenty years after playing a major role in Syracuse's first NCAA Basketball Championship, Gerry McNamara '06 and Hakim Warrick '05 will have their Orange jerseys hoisted to the Dome rafters. The jersey retirements will take place on Sunday, March 4 when Syracuse hosts Wake Forest at 5:00 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome.

20TH ANNIVERSARY OF '03 CHAMPIONSHIP
Syracuse University Athletics will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the men's basketball program's 2003 NCAA Championship throughout the 2022-23 season, culminating with a reunion at the March 4 contest with Wake Forest. Members of the 2002-03 national title team have been invited to return to Syracuse for planned activities the weekend of March 3-5, 2023. The Orange are scheduled to host Wake Forest on Saturday, March 4, in the final regular-season contest of the campaign. Those from the 2002-03 squad who can return, will be recognized at the game.
