Syracuse (16-11, 9-7) heads to the Palmetto State for a pairing with Clemson (19-8, 11-5) on Wednesday, Feb. 22, Clemson, S.C., at 7:00 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange have captured victories in three of their last four matchups, while the Tigers have only managed to secure one triumph in February and have lost four of their last five games.

SYRACUSE-CLEMSON SERIES
Clemson holds a 7-6 edge across 13 clashes in the all-time series, which reaches back to the 1960-61 season. The Orange have tamed the Tigers in two straight meetings, including a 91-78 Dome triumph last season, but SU has not won on the road in Littlejohn Coliseum since 2017.

LAST TIME OUT
On Saturday night, Duke stunned Syracuse, 77-55, in front of an NCAA season-record crowd of 31,063 Orange fans. Senior guard Joseph Girard III (21 points) notched his 10th game of the season of 20 or more points, and freshman guard Judah Mintz (18) finished his 23rd game of the season in double-figures.

ORANGE LEADERS
Mintz continues to serve as the league-leading swiper (2.0 spg.) and senior center Jesse Edwards is the top shot blocker in the conference with 2.8 rejections per game. Girard averages a team-best 17.0 scoring average, slotting him among the top six ACC offensive outputters.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Graduate guard Hunter Tyson, a Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year finalist, averages just shy of a double-double (15.3 ppg., 9.4 rpg.). Junior center PJ Hall (15.2 ppg.) is coming off a career-high 28-point performance in Clemson's most recent, 83-73, loss to Louisville.

MCNAMARA AND WARRICK JERSEY RETIREMENT
Twenty years after playing a major role in Syracuse's first NCAA Basketball Championship, Gerry McNamara '06 and Hakim Warrick '05 will have their Orange jerseys hoisted to the Dome rafters. The jersey retirements will take place on Sunday, March 4 when Syracuse hosts Wake Forest at 5:00 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome.

20TH ANNIVERSARY OF '03 CHAMPIONSHIP
Syracuse University Athletics will celebrate the 20^th Anniversary of the men's basketball program's 2003 NCAA Championship throughout the 2022-23 season, culminating with a reunion at the March 4 contest with Wake Forest. Members of the 2002-03 national title team have been invited to return to Syracuse for planned activities the weekend of March 3-5, 2023. The Orange are scheduled to host Wake Forest on Saturday, March 4, in the final regular-season contest of the campaign. Those from the 2002-03 squad who can return, will be recognized at the game.
