Tennis Hosts Florida State And #23 Miami

Syracuse tennis (7-0, 1-0) looks to continue its undefeated ways this weekend with a two-match home stand against Florida State (5-3, 0-0) and No. 23 Miami (4-1, 0-0). The Orange face the Seminoles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at Drumlins Country Club, followed by a 11:00 a.m. clash with the Hurricanes on Sunday, Feb. 26.
'Cuse is 4-6 all-time against Florida State and 1-13 all-time against Miami. The last meeting against both teams ended in a Syracuse loss.
The Orange come off a close conference win against Boston College last Saturday, Feb. 18. Syracuse secured the 4-3 victory with singles wins by Viktoriya Kanapatskaya, Polina Kozyreva, Shiori Ito and Ines Fonte.
Following this weekend, the 'Cuse continues its homestand with matches against Virginia, Coppin State and Virginia Tech (Friday, Mar. 3 – Sunday Mar. 5).
