Judah Mintz Collects Fifth Rookie Of The Week Award

Freshman guard Judah Mintz collared his fifth Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Rookie of the Week honor, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
The Fort Washington, Md. native averaged a squad-best 19.5 points per game, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds across two contests this past week. Mintz was 14-for-24 (58.3%) from the field and 5-for-6 (83.3%) from beyond the arc. He recorded 23 points and hit all four of his 3-point attempts Wednesday at Clemson.
The rookie is now tied with Tyler Ennis (five times, 2013-14) for the most Freshman of the Week honors during the program's tenure in the ACC.
ACC men's basketball weekly honors are determined by a vote of a 15-member media panel and announced on Mondays throughout the regular season.
