
Men’s Lacrosse Still in Top 20 Polls

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men's lacrosse team remains inside the top 20 of both major polls, which were released Monday morning.
The Orange (3-2, 0-1 ACC) were ranked 20th in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. Syracuse garnered 40 points in the USILA Coaches Poll and 29 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. The Orange slid two spots in the former and one spot in the latter from last week's standings.
The Orange prepare for another top-20 showdown at the JMA Wireless Dome this Sunday, squaring up against No. 5/No. 6 Duke (4-1, 0-0 ACC). The Blue Devils received 339 Coaches Poll points and 259 Media Poll points.
Seven opponents appear in the USILA Coaches Poll this week: No. 1 Virginia (April 22), No. 2 Notre Dame (April 1), No. 4 Maryland (L, 12-15), No. 5 Duke (March 5), No. 6 Princeton (April 8), No. 12 North Carolina (L, 13-19), No. 15 Johns Hopkins (March 11). Vermont received three points in the Coaches Poll.
Syracuse continues its home stand next weekend with a matchup against No. 5/No. 6 Duke. Game time is set for 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 on ACC Network Extra. Tickets can be found at cuse.com/ticketing
