Two Games, Three Days at the Dome
It's two games in three days for the Syracuse University men's lacrosse team. The Orange open the stand on Friday evening with a 6 p.m. clash against UAlbany. On Sunday, Syracuse welcomes Holy Cross to the JMA Wireless Dome at 1 p.m. Both games will be carried on ACC Network Extra.
Empire State of Mind
Friday's game against the Great Danes will be the first of four in-state opponents for the Orange. Syracuse has historically dominated New York state teams with an overall record of 420-164-10. Later in the season, Syracuse will also face Hofstra, St. Bonaventure, and Hobart.

Promotions
Friday night is Student Night in the JMA Wireless Dome. The first 250 students in attendance will receive a Koozie and they can enter to win a Syracuse Lacrosse prize pack.
The action doesn't stop on Sunday. For Military Appreciation Day, the first 250 fans in attendance will secure a men's lacrosse beanie. SU will also honor a Hometown Hero on the field during the game.

Hiltz Assists
Attackman Owen Hiltz notched 19 assists during the 2021 season, five of which came against Holy Cross. Hiltz's performance was the last time an SU player tallied five or more assists in a single game. The redshirt sophomore scored one goal during Syracuse's season opener vs. Vermont.

Dome Residency
This weekend's slate of games marks the 32nd time Syracuse has played at least three home games in an eight-day stretch. The last time Syracuse faced three opponents at home in eight days was in 2013, against Cornell, Rutgers, and Hobart. 'Cuse has gone 3-0 in nearly half of these home residencies.

Last Time Vs. Holy Cross
Syracuse's last game against Holy Cross was one for the record books. The Orange racked up 28 goals, 44 points, and 52 ground balls. The 2022 season-opener against the Crusaders was the last time the Orange scored at least 25 goals, 30 points with more than 50 ground balls. The Orange won the game with a final score of 28-5 with the help of a scoreless first quarter from the Crusaders.
