SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 2 Syracuse goes for its seventh consecutive win to start the season when it hosts No. 12 Notre Dame in the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, March 11. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.

Tickets for the game are available at Cuse.com/ticketing. The women's game is part of a doubleheader with the Orange men's lacrosse team, which hosts Johns Hopkins at 4 p.m. Tickets for that game go on sale at the start of the fourth quarter of the women's game.

ORANGE NOTES
The Orange look to match the best start in program history when they take the field on Saturday. Syracuse is 6-0 overall, 2-0 in ACC play. A win against the Fighting Irish would give the Orange a 7-0 record for the second time, matching the start of the 2017 squad.

Saturday's game concludes a three-game homestand for the Orange. Six of the Orange's first seven games of the 2023 season are home contests. Syracuse will play three of its next four games on the road.

Senior Delaney Sweitzer continued her stellar play in goal for the Orange in their win against Virginia Tech. She recorded career highs in saves (15), ground balls (6) and caused turnovers (2) against the Hokies.

Notre Dame enters Saturday's game on a three-game winning streak that features wins against ACC foes Clemson and Duke. The Fighting Irish are 4-1 overall, 2-0 in league play.

Like Syracuse, Notre Dame ranks among the top offenses in the nation, averaging 16.40 goals per game. Jackie Wolak leads the way with 26 points, while Kasey Choma has 20. Madison Ahern is right behind with 20. Goalkeeper Lilly Callahan has a 7.79 goals-against average and a .519 save percentage.

Saturday's game marks the 30th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Notre Dame. The Orange own a 21-8 advantage in the series.
