Orange Pro Day Set for Monday

Syracuse's future pros will take to the Ensley Athletic Center turf one last time in Orange on Monday for Pro Day, presented by Connors and Ferris.
The Orange had three representatives at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month in Matthew Bergeron, Sean Tucker and Garrett Williams. The trio will be joined by Butkus Award Semifinalist Mikel Jones, former Lou Groza Award winner Andre Szmyt, team captains Aaron Bolinsky and Chris Elmore and wideouts DeVaughn Cooper and C.J. Hayes at the event on Monday.
Some participants will have varying degrees of participation, as both Williams and Elmore are coming off season-ending injuries this past fall.
The class in total shapes up as one of the Orange's best in recent years, headlined by offensive tackle Matthew Bergeron, who has continued to climb up draft projections. Williams and Tucker are also receiving day two or early day three projections.
Pro Day starts a busy week for the Orange, who will begin spring practice on Tuesday morning.
