Tucker Posts Strong Numbers at Pro Day

Syracuse record-breaking running back Sean Tucker out-performed all other running backs invited to the NFL Combine on the bench press on Monday morning.
Tucker, who was invited to the combine himself but was unable to participate in it or Syracuse's Pro Day in March, held his own Pro Day at the Ensley Athletic Center, following medical clearance.
The program's single-season rushing leader repped 29 bench press reps, four more than any back at the combine, and leapt 38" in the vertical, which would have tied for third among running backs in Indianapolis.
He also went through standard measurements and a bevvy or running and pass catching drills for the scouts on hand.
Tucker is one of a handful of Orange players expected to have their name called in the NFL Draft this week. Matthew Bergeron, Garrett Williams and Mikel Jones are also likely selections.
