Four Advance to Saturday Finals

Syracuse advanced to the finals in four events at the Penn Relays on Friday night.
Jaheem Hayles posted the top preliminary time of 13.69 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, cruising to Saturday's final in the event. Anthony Vazquez was 14th overall in 14.52 seconds, with Emanuel Joseph placing 24th. Hayles' final will be at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Shaleah Colaire advanced in the women's 100-meter hurdles, racing to a mark of 13.86 seconds. Her time was eighth among qualifiers, with the final set for 2:05 p.m. on Saturday.
The Syracuse 4x100-meter relay squad of Emanuel Joesph, Jaheem Hayles, Anthony Vazquez and Trei Thorogood advanced to Saturday's final in the 4x100-meter relay. They posted a qualifying time of 41.38 seconds.
Trei Thorogood advanced to the final in the 100-meter dash, missing his PR by under a tenth of a second in the process. He raced to a time of 10.56 seconds, which was fourth among qualifiers.
