Orange 2V4 is ACC Crew of the Week

Syracuse's Eastern Sprints gold medal-winning second varsity four is the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Crew of the Week. The 2V4 captured the gold by winning the grand final race, finishing ahead of Brown, Columbia, Radcliffe, Rutgers and Boston University. In their heat, the Orange beat Rutgers, Boston University, Rhode Island, Northeastern, Temple and Colgate.
The field at Eastern Sprints included four top-20 teams in addition to #10 Syracuse, including fifth-ranked Brown, 15th-ranked Radcliffe, 18th-ranked Rutgers, and 20th-ranked Columbia.
The Orange will race at the ACC Championship on May 12-13 on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.
