44 Films: 15 For Life

In a partnership between Syracuse University Athletics and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, 44 Films takes in-depth looks at the stories behind the Orange. Directed and edited by Ellis Stanton, this edition explores the legacy of former Syracuse lacrosse star Rob Kavovit and the foundation, 15 For Life, which honors his life while shining light on mental health awareness.
The Sports Media Center at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, in conjunction with the Syracuse Department of Athletics, launched 44 FILMS in 2022. The project is focused on short form non-fiction narrative filmmaking that puts the students at the forefront of every aspect of production, with the guidance of faculty and professional staff.
