Watson Earns Midseason Freshman All-America Honors from 247

Freshman defensive tackle Maraad Watson has been named to the 247Sports' Midseason Freshman All-America Team.
The rookie defensive lineman leads the nation in snaps at defensive tackle by a true freshman and has 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a quarterback hurry. He has made four starts at defensive tackle this year already.
Watson was a signee out of Irvington High School, where he was a Second Team All-State selection.
He and the Orange return to action on Thursday night at Pittsburgh. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
