Running back LeQuint Allen Jr. is this week's East-West Shrine Bowl Breakout Offensive Player of the Week after leading Syracuse to a 38-31 come-from-behind victory over Virginia Tech in overtime.

The junior ran for a season-high 121 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns against the Hokies. Allen scored with 29 seconds left as the Orange tied the game at 31-31 to force overtime. On Syracuse's first possession, he scored on a 9-yard run that proved to be the game winner.

Allen broke the school records for most receptions in a season and in a career by a running back with his performance against Virginia Tech. He caught five passes, increasing his season total to 42 and his career total to 97.

Allen and the Orange are back on the road this week to take on Boston College in Chestnut Hill on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 12 p.m. The game will air on The CW.
