
Watson Named Freshman All-American

True freshman defensive tackle Maraad Watson earned a spot on 247Sports' True Freshman All-America team.
The Orange defensive lineman led all rookie defensive tackles nationally in total snaps. A 10-game starter, Watson ranked second amongst true freshman defensive linemen in run defense grading, according to Pro Football Focus (82.6). He had 26 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pass breakup on the season.
Watson was also a mid-season Freshman All-American from the publication.
