2025 Men's Rowing Schedule Announced

The Syracuse men's rowing season begins on the west coast for the fourth-straight season. The Orange begin their 2025 spring campaign with a trip to Redwood Shores where they will race the California Rowing Club, one of the nation's top development clubs, as well as Stanford and Brown.Â
Syracuse will race for the Goes Trophy the following weekend in Annapolis, Maryland, when the Orange line up with Navy and Cornell. SU looks to win its program-best sixth-straight Goes Trophy on April 19.
The Orange will meet Dartmouth, Boston University and Georgetown in Fairlee, Vermont, for the annual Lake Morey Invite. Syracuse hopes to retain both the Packard Cup (vs. Dartmouth) and Conlan Cup (vs. Boston U) the weekend of April 26 and 27.Â
The EARC Eastern Sprints regatta is set for May 18 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts. Syracuse hopes to medal for the second time in three seasons having won bronze in the varsity eight in 2023.Â
The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta will take place May 30 through June 1 in Cooper River, New Jersey. This is the fifth IRA Championship in a row to take place in the state of New Jersey. Syracuse is coming off of four-straight IRA Grand Finals appearances in the varsity eight. The Orange are one of three collegiate programs to reach the Grand Final since 2021 and are joined by Washington and California.Â
