Syracuse (18-10, 9-8 ACC) will host its last home game of the season and hold a pregame ceremony to celebrate senior day against Virginia Tech (15-12, 7-9) on Tuesday, February 27, at 7 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome.

THE SYRACUSE-VIRGINIA TECH SERIES
Tuesday marks the 20th meeting between Syracuse and Virginia Tech. The Orange own a 12-7 advantage in the all-time series. Last season, the squads split the home-and-home series, each team winning as the hosts. The most recent matchup was at Virginia Tech on Jan. 21, 2021, which the Hokies won, 85-70. Syracuse paces the ACC in steal average with 9.4 per contest. Brown (2.21) ranks first in the conference in steals per game, followed by Mintz (2.14) at second place and Copeland (1.54) in ninth.

Junior guard Sean Pedulla leads the Hokies in scoring average with 15.6 per game. He ranks third in the ACC in assists per outing with 4.4. Graduate guard Hunter Cattoor (13.7 ppg.) and senior center Lynn Kidd (12.8) are the other Virginia Tech performers averaging double-figure scoring this season. Kidd is atop the squad in rebound average with 6.4 per affair.
Virginia Tech ranks fourth in the nation and second in the ACC in free throw percentage (.797). Cattoor and Kidd rank third and fourth in the conference, respectively, in free throw percentage. Cattoor is 78-of-87 (.897) from the line this season and Kidd has made 71-of-81 (.877).
